Mission Statement
by Dr. Wilbur Kuo
Our Approach to Wellness...
We put our patients first and provide compassionate care and support for a person's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. We are an independent practice and take the time to listen to patients' concerns and provide comprehensive care, not just address symptoms and illnesses. We strive to build strong relationships and communication with our patients.
What does the gourd symbolize?
Chinese folklore tells the tale of Dr. Chang Fang Fei. Around 200 A.D., he became famous for his compassion, diagnostic proficiency, and effective treatments, as he carried medicine around in a gourd and healed the sick.
To this day, physicians in Asia hang a sign in their office,
懸壺濟世, literally, "hang gourd heal public," which means "Practice Medicine to Heal the People.”
